2025 Boys & Girls Lacrosse

Boys & Girls Spring 2025 Lacrosse

Registration for the Spring 2025 Season is now open. As teams fill up, registration will be closed.

Boys Teams will consist of Grades 2/3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Girls Teams will consist of Grades 3/4, 5/6, 7/8

(Registration for K-2 Girls and K-1 Boys will be a different registration link, coming soon)

Teams will play in the NJJLL (boys) and JGLA (girls). These teams will generally play 10-16 regular season games along with 2-3 tournaments throughout the spring season.
Game and Tournament #s will vary team to team. Scheduling varies based on size, skill, and area competition. There are no guarantees of the # of games or tournaments played, focus should placed around the quality of practices for youth sports, not only competitions.
Games and practices will be evenings on weekdays and both Saturday and Sundays. Practice schedules are still under development and are determined by field availability. Game schedules are subject to both away team field availability and referee availability. Game schedules are currently under development and are subject to change during the season.
Home fields include Kantor and Pop Warner.
Players will learn all lacrosse basic skills and concepts such as scooping, cradling, catching, throwing, and shooting. Fun and competitive atmosphere. Team sports promote accountability, teamwork, dedication, fitness, leadership and self-esteem.

IMPORTANT: Please note:

Lacrosse is a team sport that requires full consistent participation and repetition. Players are expected to be on time and attend all practices regularly.
Lack of practice attendance will have a direct impact on game play time for the player's safety and in fairness to those players who do attend practice regularly. Players who do not attend practices regulatory will not improve their skills over the season and therefore may experience less play time during games.
To enhance the experience for all our players and ensure that everyone has ample opportunities to participate in games, we may organize into smaller pods. This approach will allow us to maximize game minutes for each player. This decision is at the discretion of the Coaches on a team-by-team basis and is determined based on the final registration. Care will be taken to balance the # games and tournaments for all pods.
Select Grade 8 Boys participate in a series of Conference Championship Games which will be identified after the season begins.
Select Girls 7/8 players will participate in 1 season ending competitive tournament by invitation only.
New from 2024 - Grade 8 Boys and Girls will participate in a fun, silly, girl vs. boy exhibition game during LAX DAY 2025!

VOLUNTEERS! We need you. We are always looking for coaches. No experience necessary, USA Lacrosse provides online training as well as training provided by our experienced Watchung Hills Lacrosse Club Volunteers. We also need Team Managers. If interested, the option to volunteer is within the registration and email us.

NEW FOR 2025 - All players will be provided a separate link to purchase a new uniform. Uniforms not purchased during the 2 ordering windows, may result in missed games until uniforms are received.

Season: March through Early June Cost $280 per player ($180 for grades 2/3 Boys and 3/4 Girls)

Sibling Discount $25

Late Registration Fee $50 applied after January 15, 2025 (Uniforms must be ordered by January 15th or risk not playing during the first few games)

All players are required to be active members of the USA Lacrosse Association. Registration will automatically direct you to the USA Lacrosse website to create or renew your membership(s).
